Event ReminderPrivacy Policy
- We keep only what the app needs: your name, e-mail, a hashed password, and the events and photos you add.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing is sold or shared.
- You can delete your account and all of its data in the app at any time.
This policy explains how Event Reminder (“the app”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses and stores your personal information when you use the app.
1. Who we are
Event Reminder is made and run by Jesora Labs (Joji George). Contact: support@jesoralabs.com.
2. What we collect
Your account
- Full name
- E-mail address
- Password, stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never store or see your actual password.
Your events
- Event name, date, category and notes
- Reminder settings (how many days ahead, on or off, every year or once)
- A photo, if you add one
Permissions on your phone
- Notifications: to show your reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your phone; we do not use push notification servers.
- Face ID / fingerprint: only to unlock the app on your phone. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
- Photos / camera: only when you choose a photo for an event.
- Internet: to keep your account and events in sync with our server.
- Battery optimization exemption (Android): asked for so that reminders arrive on time. No data is collected for it.
3. How we use it

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, or for anything other than running the app. We never sell it or share it with anyone.
4. Where it is stored
Your account, events and photos are stored on our server at eventreminder.jesoralabs.com, and everything is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Older versions of the app still connect through jojigeorge.com, which passes their requests on to this server without keeping any data.
Your phone's own notification scheduler also keeps a copy of upcoming reminders (event names and dates) on your phone.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, the following are deleted permanently and at once:
- your account,
- all of your events,
- all of the photos you added.
Password-reset links expire after one hour.
6. Your choices and rights
- View and change your name and password in the app (Profile).
- Edit or delete any event in the app.
- Delete your account and all its data in the app (Profile › Delete account). See how to delete your account, including when you no longer have the app.
To ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted by e-mail, write to support@jesoralabs.com.
7. Third parties
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or social sign-in. It connects only to our own server.
8. Children
The app is not meant for children under 13 (under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we make an important change to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated policy.
